The Key factor of the 2008 Gaastra Kites is the aerodynamic approach of our head designer Urs Hungerbühler who developed winning hang-gliders designs and now the Gaastra kite Range which are just more efficient than our competition. Extreme testing in South Africa and the nuclear winds of Tarifa ensures a proven product for every need.

New to the Vision Pro in 2008 is the new CNC’ed full wood core - this together with the improved construction techniques means that they flex at the tips and keep stiff in the centre.

VISION

New to the Vision board for 2008 is an improved hi-tech PU core, CNC’ed for the utmost shape accuracy. Reinforced with a full wood patch between the foot straps helping to maximise strength for heavy landings.

RIDER X

Respected in the market in 2007, the RiderX has been refined for 2008 with a new hi-tech PU core and fin improvements. The outline of the 155cm remains 45cm, which is wide enough to make a great school board, without compromising its performance for more advanced kiters.

SURF PRO

The 5’4” continues from last year, with an improved full deck wood reinforcement, and significantly lighter in weight due to the new E36 Core.
