The competition took place in a city called Herzliah on the coast of the mediterranean sea. The weather conditions were side wind from the right North wind)  15-18 knots and flat water with Air Temp of 28C. Was using my Gaastra Max 16.0 and my Vision Pro 130 board.

Registration fees for the competition were very costly only the top riders in Israel signed in hoping to win the race , there were about 20 of  the best kitesurfers in Israel. The race was a downwind slalom course with obstacles on the way that we had to jump over while doing the slalom as fast as we could. In each race there were 4 riders and only the first two would have gone up to the next level. We had about 5 races which I took first place in all of them. On a few races it was close since there was a lot of pressure on the start and I didn't start well but during the race I always passed the other competitors because I was faster.

 1) Gil Hurvitz (Gaastra)
 2) Ran Rave (Nobila) - a very experienced rider
 3) Yam Eliyaho (Naish) - also one of the experienced riders
 4) Ofri Argov (Blade Kites) one of the first kitesurfurs in Israel was the Israeli champ in the past and finished 3rd at the KPWT - Turkey in 2003

The competition was a great fun and I hope I can keep the lead on the next round of the Israeli super cross!
